On April 30, 2023, troops from Operation HADARIN DAJI carried out an ambush operation at the bandits’ crossing point at ANKA, which leads to DAN KAMPANI in the ANKA Local Government Area of ZAMFARA State. Following a firefight, troops made contact with bandits and neutralized three (3) terrorists. One (1) PKT gun with 48 rounds of 7.62mm x 54 ammunition, three (3) AK 47 rifles, three (3) magazines with 63 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, and three motorcycles are among the items found.
Major General Musa Danmadami, the Director of Defense Media Operations at the Defense Headquarters, sent a news release to the Abuja-based journalists on April 30, 2023.
He claims that the military high command praises the soldiers involved in Operation HADARIN DAJI and exhorts the populace to provide reliable and timely information on terrorists and all criminal activity in their region for the benefit of the army.
