The Commandant of the Nigerian Army College of Logistics and Management (NACOLM), Brigadier General Wisdom Etuk, has assumed command and responsibility for the College.

In his inaugural address, the newly appointed Commandant thanked God and the departing Commandant for their gracious welcome and vowed to go on and build on their achievements in ensuring that NACOLM achieves its goals.

The Commandant underlined the value of teamwork and cooperation among the college staff, emphasizing the critical role that their combined efforts play in realizing the institution’s objectives.

The outgoing Commandant, Major General Adekunle Adeyinka, thanked the officers and troops of NACOLM for their steadfast support during his time in office. He praised them for their commitment to raising the bar at the college and praised the new Commandant as a qualified senior officer with the capacity to take NACOLM to even higher levels. The college staff was exhorted by Major General Adeyinka to provide his successor with the same degree of support.

Major General Adeyinka credited the diligent efforts of his staff officers and soldiers for the outstanding results attained under his direction, praising in particular Brigadier General AJ Aliyu, the Deputy Commandant and Director of Studies, for his unwavering dedication.

A tour of the Moloney and Ojo campuses was given, the Handing and Taking Over Notes were signed, the new Commandant was given the College Insignia, the College Flag was presented, and flags were lowered and raised. The occasion was celebrated by a Quarter Guard inspection and other events.
