Recognizing the potential damage that can result from a lack of discipline, he stressed the importance of upholding the highest standards throughout their course of study.
The Commandant emphasized that the courses, OAIC 25/23 and Armoured Fighting Maintenance Vehicle Soldiers Course 23/23, are designed to expose the students to the general principles and skills needed in their respective fields. They will be trained to effectively handle maintenance and repair problems and will be required to complete technical and administrative projects during the course. Major General Adereti encouraged the students to actively participate, remain dedicated, and pay close attention throughout their training.
Major General Adereti also highlighted the cordial relationship between NASEME and civilians as well as other security agencies in the Auchi area. He expressed his commitment to sustaining this positive relationship and advised the students to be mindful of their actions both within and outside the institution. He further emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic living environment to prevent the outbreak of infections or diseases within the accommodation area.
By instilling discipline, maintaining high academic standards, and fostering good relationships with external stakeholders, NASEME aims to produce competent and responsible graduates who can contribute effectively to the Nigerian Army and the nation as a whole.
As the students embark on their respective courses, their adherence to discipline and zero tolerance will not only shape their individual success but also contribute to the overall reputation of NASEME as a leading institution in electrical and mechanical engineering education and training.
