The Director General NYSC, Brigadier General Mohammed Fadah during his visit to the 2022 Batch C stream 1, Corps Members in the Temporary Orientation Camp, at Government Science Secondary School Gusau, Zamfara State, charged them to be apolitical in their conduct during the fourth coming General Elections.
He warned them against any act that would contravene the Electoral Act as it would attract the necessary sanctions from NYSC Management. The Director General told the Corps Members to regard Nigeria as their political party and should not be associated nor affiliated with any political party or organization during the conduct of the coming Elections.
He advised them to focus and participate actively in all SAED training both on Camp and during the service year to be employers of labour to the Nation’s Economy and take some of the burden of unemployment off the Government.
Brigadier General Fadah further warned the Corps Members against indulging in criminal acts such as Cultism, Drug and substance abuse as Management under his watch has zero tolerance and necessary sanctions would be applied if there is a breach.
Earlier the State Coordinator, informed the Director General that about four Hundred Corps Members were registered, well-behaved, disciplined and participating fully in all camp activities.
The highlight of the visit was the donation of a big Bull to the entire Camp and gifts to the Band, Man o war, Dance troupe and Quater guard.
