The recently appointed Commander 9 Brigade Nigerian Army (NA) Brig Gen AM Adetuyi has assumed command on Monday 17 July 2023 at Headquarters 9 Brigade Nigerian Army Cantonment lkeja Lagos.
During the event ,the outgoing Commander Brig Gen NJ Edet expressed his appriciation to the almighty God, Chief of Army Staff , officers and soldiers for their elforts and support during his brief period as Commander while asking officers and soldiers extend thesame courtesy to the new commander.
The lncoming Commander acknowledged the accomplishment of his predecessor for the few months he stayed and promised to compliment his efforts.
He further requested officers to put more effort in order to achieve more for the Brigade.
Dignitaries that graced the occasion include the Honourary members of 9 Brigade Officers’ Mess and the gladiators. Others were Acting Commanding officers of 149 and 192 Battalions among others.
Highlights of the event were presentation of plaque, handing over of colour, address of officers and soldiers and group photographs amongst others.
