Chairman NISEC Expo 2023 Organizing Committee Visits IGP, Seeks Partnership

On June 8, 2023, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba warmly received a delegation from the Nigeria Security Exhibition and Conference (NISEC) at the Force Headquarters in Abuja. The delegation was led by Lt. Gen. Chikadibia Isaac Obiakor, the Chairman of the NISEC Expo 2023 Organizing Committee.

The purpose of the delegation’s visit was to seek a partnership between the Nigeria Police Force and NISEC in preparation for the upcoming NISECExpo 2023, which is scheduled to commence on July 31, 2023. NISEC is a significant event that brings together stakeholders from various sectors to address and showcase the latest advancements, technologies, and solutions in security.

Recognizing the importance of collaboration and cooperation in enhancing security measures, the NISEC delegation sought to establish a partnership with the Nigeria Police Force. Such a partnership would facilitate the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and resources between the two entities, ultimately leading to improved security practices in Nigeria.

During the meeting, IGP Usman Alkali Baba expressed his appreciation for the delegation’s visit and emphasized the significance of NISEC in promoting security awareness and innovation. He acknowledged the importance of the conference in showcasing emerging security technologies and solutions that can contribute to the enhancement of the Nigeria Police Force’s operations.

The Inspector-General of Police assured the NISEC delegation of the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective security management in the country. He highlighted the force’s dedication to adopting modern and innovative approaches to combatting crime and maintaining law and order.

The meeting between the Inspector-General of Police and the NISEC delegation signifies a shared commitment to working together to address the evolving security challenges facing Nigeria. It demonstrates the Nigeria Police Force’s proactive approach in seeking partnerships and collaborations to strengthen security efforts and maintain public safety.

As preparations for NISECExpo 2023 continue, the Nigeria Police Force looks forward to actively participating in the conference, engaging with experts, and exploring innovative solutions that will contribute to the overall security landscape of the nation
