The Chief of Defence Training and Operations (CDTOP) Major General SE Udounwa paid an operational visit to the Headquarters Joint Task Force North West Operation Hadarin Daji (JTF NW OPHD) on Wednesday 15 February 2023.
In his welcome remarks, the Commander JTF NW OPHD Major General GM Mutkut thanked the CDTOP for his operational visit and the support accorded to the Operations since his assumption of office on 17 January 2023. Major General Mutkut further assures the CDTOP that the support received so far would be a force multiplier and change the phase of the operation in the coming days.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chief of Defence Training and Operations Major General SE Udounwa stated that the purpose of his visit was to assess the Operation and have first hand information on the activities of the JTF NW OPHD. He commended the Officers and men of OPHD on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff Gen LEO Irabor for their intense operational activities which led to the hitch free yuletide season. He further assures the HQ JTF NW OPHD of more force multipliers to enhance it’s operational capabilities.
