Chief of Special Services and Programs Visits Theatre Command OPHK

The Theatre Commander Joint Task Force (JTF) North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) Major General Ibrahim Ali on Monday, 13 February 2023, received in audience, the Chief of Special Services and Programs (Army), Maj Gen EV Onumajuru at the Theatre Headquarters in Maimalari Military Cantonment, Maiduguri.

Maj-Gen Onumajuru disclosed that the aim of his visit was to carry out a general assessment of the Command Guest House, Maiduguri. He disclosed that the Army is taking a bold step in enhancing the operations of the Guest House and also creating a special brand for itself in the hospitality industry in line with global best practices.

While relaying the commendations of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General F Yahaya to the Theatre Commander, he also urged officers and men of Theatre to sustain the tempo of the ongoing onslaught against terrorists in the NE.

Responding, Maj-Gen Ali assured the COAS of the Theatre’s readiness and determination in justifying the confidence reposed in the command. Additionally, Maj-Gen Ali also thanked the Chief of Defence Staff, General LEO Irabor and Service Chiefs for their unending support and provision of requisite combat equipment for the Theatre which has aided military operations in the region.
