Commandant Nigerian Army School of Artillery Urges Troops to Remain Apolitical

The Commandant Nigerian Army School of Artillery (NASA) Major General Tariweriye Gagariga made this assertion, when he paid a familiarization visit to the Nigerian Navy School of Armament  Technology (NNSAT) Kachia, on 25 January, 2023.

The Commandant NASA in his remarks, stated that the purpose of the visit to NNSAT was to familiarize with the establishment as well as the school management.

Commandant also appreciated the cooperation and working relationship that has existed over the years between both schools in joint programs, drills and training of personnel. He also emphasized on the need for training and retraining of personnel especially during this period the country is faced with many security challenges.

He further stated that due to location of both schools, there is need for NNSAT to forward it’s contingency plan to enable NASA know what role to play in case of any eventuality. He also urged troops to remain apolitical as the general elections is around the corner.

In his remarks, Commodore ME Ejumabone stated that since the relocation of NNSAT from Lagos to Kachia in 2009, the school has benefited a lot from various programs and practical exercises organized by NASA and they will continue to build and maintain that synergy. He further thanked the commandant for the visit and wished him well as he pilot the activities of NASA

Highlight of the event were the inspection of quarter guard, tour of NNSAT, signing of the visitors book, presentation of souvenir as well as group photograph.
