The Commander of the 013 Quick Response Force (QRF), Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Minna, Group Captain Austine Idoko, has called for strengthened cooperation between his unit and the Training and Doctrine Command of the Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA) to bolster joint military operations, particularly in the fight against banditry in Niger State.

This appeal was made during a familiarization visit to the Commander of TRADOC NA, Major General Kevin Aligbe, at the Command Headquarters in Minna on Friday, October 18, 2024. According to a statement by Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, the Acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations at TRADOC NA, Group Captain Idoko praised the ongoing cooperation between TRADOC NA and NAF Minna and expressed his desire for continued collaboration.

Group Captain Idoko stated that his visit was part of efforts to strengthen the already established relationship between TRADOC NA and the 013 QRF, which are both critical stakeholders in the operational environment. He emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and coordination in enhancing operational effectiveness, particularly in addressing security challenges such as banditry in the area.

During the visit, Idoko also sought strategic guidance from Major General Aligbe, noting the Commander’s extensive knowledge and experience at the strategic level within the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

In response, Major General Aligbe reassured Group Captain Idoko of TRADOC NA’s unwavering support, especially in the areas of training, operational engagements, and logistics. He encouraged the 013 QRF Commander to communicate any further assistance needed to enhance their joint efforts.

The visit concluded with the exchange of souvenirs and a group photograph, symbolizing the strengthened partnership between the two military units.
