Commander 14 Brigade Pays Courtesy Visit to Nigerian Navy College of Account and Finance, Reaffirms Inter-Service Cooperation

The Commander, 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, Ohafia, Brigadier General Ahmad Dikko, on 12 February 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Navy College of Account and Finance (NNCAF) in Owerrinta, Abia State, reaffirming the commitment of the Nigerian Army to enhanced inter-service cooperation.

On arrival at the College, the Brigade Commander was warmly received by the Commandant, Commodore BU Quadri, alongside members of the College Management.

According to a statement by Captain Mazinho Attah, Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, the visit was aimed at strengthening professional collaboration between the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy, particularly in addressing operational and internal security matters within Abia State.

In his remarks, Brigadier General Dikko commended the College for maintaining a serene, well-managed and conducive learning environment. He acknowledged NNCAF’s critical role in capacity development, financial management training and the grooming of competent personnel for the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

The Brigade Commander underscored the importance of sustained engagement among sister services to promote efficiency, accountability and overall mission effectiveness, noting that strong inter-service relationships remain vital to national security.

Responding, the Commandant, Commodore BU Quadri, expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as timely and significant. He reaffirmed the College’s commitment to professionalism and inter-service cooperation in alignment with the strategic objectives of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. He further emphasized that high-level interactions of this nature strengthen unity of purpose and institutional synergy.

The visit concluded with the signing of the visitors’ book, exchange of souvenirs and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion, further cementing the cordial relationship between 14 Brigade and the Nigerian Navy College of Account and Finance.
