The Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi CFR, received a courtesy call from Brigadier General Mohammed Aminu, commander 35 Artillery Brigade, at his palace in Sagamu. In a same manner, Brigadier General Aminu honored His Royal Majesty Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo CFR at the Ake palace in Abeokuta.

General Aminu stated in his polite remarks that the familiarization tour gives him the chance to speak with Ogun state’s stakeholders, institutions, and traditional leaders about important problems.

The Brigade Commander declared that “security is a collective responsibility” and assured the good people of Ogun State of his willingness to keep the peace at all times. Brigadier General Aminu further revealed that his visit was made in order to show respect to the monarchs and to ask for their blessings and prayers as he carried out his official duties.

Speaking during the tour, the Akarigbo expressed appreciation for the Nigerian Army’s presence in Remo territory, noting that it has significantly decreased crime, persistent cultism, and other societal vices. Therefore, he declared his intention to support, work in concert with, and enhance the Army at all times. The Alake also stated that there had never been miscommunications, conflicts, or disagreements since the military presence was established in Ogun when responding to the commander earlier today. He advised Brigadier General Aminu to keep good contacts with the king as well and to get in touch with him whenever necessary for intelligence collecting and information sharing. In order to effectively battle crime in the state, the government has recently strengthened law enforcement agencies, expanded the number of security agencies, and given them the necessary funding, instruction, and technology.
