Commander Infantry Corps Visits Headquarters Nigerian Army School of Military Police

The Commander Infantry Corps (CIC) Major General CG Musa and Member of his entourage paid a courtesy call visits the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Military Police (NASMP) Brigadier General MO Erebulu on 9 March 2023 at the School Headquarters in Zaria.

 

The   Commander Infantry Corps stated that the purpose of his visit was to officially visit the School on a familiarization visit after taking over Command. The CIC also seized the opportunity to congratulate and applaud the Commandant NASMP on the commendable projects that have taken place in the school with credits to the COAS. The CIC further encouraged officers to always emulate the good characters of their superiors, and learn to avoid the bad sides. General Musa pledged his support to the NASMP at any time the need arises. The CIC also stated the relevant stake Military Police investigators play in the investigation and prosecution of cases for the Nigerian Army. He further thanked the Commandant NASMP for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage despite their busy schedules.

 

The Commandant NASMP Brigadier General MO Erebulu in his response appreciated the Commander Infantry Corp for finding time to visit NASMP despite his busy schedule on the assumption of office. Brigadier General Erebulu also pledged the School’s unalloyed support whenever required, the Commandant pointed out the Provost Marshal’s zeal and personal interest to ensure the efficiency of investigators in the Corps with various measures put in place to boost the investigative capacity. From refresher courses to the explosion of students in the investigation line to a military court martial and the provision of effective forensic labs to improve the knowledge of investigators amongst others. The Commandant NASMP further urged officers of NASMP to learn from Major General CG Musa as he has a lot, of officers to tap from.

Highlights of the event were the signing of the visitor’s book, exchange of souvenirs and group photograph. Attached herewith are pictures of the visit.
