Recently, Major General AM Alabi, Commander, Nigerian Army Ordinance Corps, visited the Headquarters of the Nigerian Army College of Logistics (NACOL) in Ojo. The Commandant NACOL, Major General AA Adeyinka, welcomed the Corps Commander Ordinance (CC Ord) and members of his entourage at the Quarter Guard.

In his welcome remarks, the Commandant was pleased to host the Corps Commander and one of the College’s Governing Board members. He added that, the College would be happy to take advantage of the CC Ord’s vast experience.

Additionally, the Commandant also praised his predecessor, who was able to increase enrollment at the college from its initial average of 50 to 60 students to its current 102 students. He continued to project that by January 2023, there may be about 220 students enrolled in the Logistics Staff Course (LSC), Junior Leadership and Staff Officers Course (JLSOC), and Senior Leadership and Staff Officers Courses at the college (SLSOC).

“By July 2023, when about 3 courses would be offered concurrently, this number may perhaps reach 287 students”. He added.

Maj Gen AM Alabi in his response thanked the Commandant for the invitation and emphasized that the College of Logistics has an international reputation and that it needs highly skilled and knowledgeable personnel to carry out its mission.

In the same vein, he urged the College to deepen its partnerships with respectable academic institutions, learning groups, and businesses. He added that he had heard about the College’s successes and challenges, and he pledged to lend his assistance to the collage for optimal performance.
