On Democracy Day 2023, Three (3) terrorists were killed, firearms recovered as a result of a raid on terrorist camps carried out by Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) troops in Zamfara State’s Kairu/Kyaram Local Government Area. This information was delivered in a press release to the media by Major General Musa Danmadami, Director of Defence Media Operations. The men executed the mission, which comprised an ambush plan, with extraordinary bravery and effectiveness.

The Director claims that throughout the operation, the forces came into contact with the criminals and engaged them in a gunfight. Three terrorists were as a result neutralized, making them no longer a menace to the local peace and security. The operation’s success is a testament to the soldiers’ expertise and commitment in their continuous battle against terrorism in the area.

The troops not only killed the terrorists but also removed priceless objects from the area. These included three motorcycles, two AK-47 rifles, a pump-action gun, and several other random goods. The capture of these weapons and equipment further thwarts the terrorists’ plans and stops them from committing their evil deeds.

Operation HADARIN DAJI’s bigger effort to bring peace and stability to Zamfara State and the neighboring areas includes the operation in Kairu/Kyaram Local Government Area. The Nigerian Armed Forces are steadfast in their will to protect the people’s lives and property as well as to end all types of criminality in the area.

The three terrorists were successfully apprehended and killed in Zamfara State, sending a clear message to other criminal groups that the security forces are vigorously pursuing them. The soldiers of Operation HADARIN DAJI have once more proven their steadfast commitment to defending the civilian populace and preserving the peace in the area.

In cooperation with other security agencies, the Nigerian Armed Forces continue to put in unrelenting effort to achieve the total eradication of terrorism and banditry in Zamfara State and throughout the nation. The accomplishment of this mission serves as a reminder of the professionalism and bravery exhibited by the troops in the face of formidable obstacles. The forces will continue to conduct operations aimed at restoring peace and security in the afflicted areas because their dedication to the safety and well-being of the populace is steadfast.
