In 8 Division Nigerian Army Sokoto, the sensitization program and lessons learned conducted by the Army Headquarters Department of Transformation and Innovation led by Brigadier-General IO Olatunji has come to an end. Targeting Commanders, Staff Officers, and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, the three-day event, which took place from June 6 to 8, attracted a sizable crowd of participants.
Major-General Godwin Micheal Mutkut, General Officer Commanding 8 Division, Nigerian Army, and Commander Joint Taskforce North West Operation HADARIN DAJI, stated during the opening ceremony of the program that took place on Wednesday, June 7, at Lt. Gen. TY Buratai Auditorium, Giginya Barracks Sokoto, that the lectures were planned for the Nigerian Army personnel to keep them informed about the current Chief of Army Staff’s Transformation Agenda and for the development He insisted that among other advantages, the program will broaden personnel’s perspectives on the many transformation programs that had previously been implemented in the Army by Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya, Chief of Army Staff.
The sensitization lectures, according to General Mutkut, were timely given the numerous complex security issues facing our nation, which necessitate constant evaluation of tactics, techniques, and procedures by the Nigerian Army to satisfy operational requirements. In order to stimulate their potential for operational efficiency in the future, he thus urged attendees to pay close attention and actively participate in the guest lecturer’s presentation during the interactive session.

The GOC took use of the training program’s chance to express his gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff for his consistent support of Nigerian Army Formations, particularly the 8 Division. He declared that the Division is more devoted than ever to carrying out its responsibilities and achieving operational results. He congratulated the Chief of Transformation and Innovation (Army) for selecting the crucial sensitization program with the 8 Division. During the session, two lectures titled “Nigerian Army Transformation and Lesson Learned” were given. The program culminated with a group photo of all the attendees.
