On November 6, 2022, soldiers from Operation HADARIN DAJI responded to a bandit attack in Gamraki Village, Kwatarkwashi District, Bungudu Local Government Area, Zamfara State. Two villagers had been abducted by bandits, which troops found and confronted. Soldiers attacked the robbers, freed the hostages, and killed one bandit while others left the scene wounded by gunfire. One AK-47 weapon, one magazine, and two 7.62mm special rounds were among the items that the troops found.
Major-General Musa Danmadami, the Director of Defence Media Operations at Defense Headquarters in Abuja, revealed this in a statement. According to General Danmadami, troops also responded to a bandit attack on farmers harvesting their crops at Yar Tashar village in Maru Local Government Area, Zamfara state, on the same day.
Soldiers defeated Mr. Bada, a notorious bandit boss. According to reports, Bada assaulted the market in Yar Tashar village on October 13, 2022, killing a few farmers. The military found one motorcycle, a few firearms, and some valuables.
