The senior officers who were recently promoted to the substantive rank of Brigadier General in the Nigerian Army have received praise from Major General Aminu Chinade, the General Officer Commanding 2 Division Nigerian Army. He recently expressed this praise at the Tiger Officer’s Mess Agodi Ibadan during the senior officers’ decoration ceremony.

In addition to stressing the importance of the senior officers continuing to work hard and be diligent in their tasks, Major General Chinade congratulated them for reaching their substantive levels of Brigadier General. “I’m happy for you that you were able to achieve the prestigious rank of Brigadier General. I beg you to keep working hard and being conscientious in your work ” He spoke.
The Commanders of the 22 Armour Brigade and the 32 Artillery Brigade also spoke on the need of working hard, pleading with the senior commanders to remain devoted in their service to the country and warning them to anticipate additional difficulties as Generals.

In his vote of thanks, Brigadier General Garba Abubakar thanked the General Officer Commanding 2 Division for his support and for creating an environment that allowed them to succeed. He also thanked Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, the Chief of Army Staff, for considering them deserving of promotion. He also expressed gratitude to the relatives and friends who came to join in their joy.
Brigadier General Garba Abubakar, Brigadier General Julius Ogbobe, Brigadier General Amechi Agwu, and Brigadier General Charles Zebere are among the senior commanders awarded to the substantive rank of Brigadier General. The event’s decoration and group photo were its highlights.
