The Spokesman described VON as a   critical stakeholder in national security and  building. He added  that his visit  was informed by the need to consolidate on the existing mutual relationship between VON and the military; and also  convey the Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor’s assurance of  safety of Nigerians during the 2023 general elections.
