GOC 3 Division Visits Troops in Bauchi, Gombe, Charges them to Always Remain Resolute, Professionals

As part of his familiarization trip with the soldiers under his command, Major-General Abdulsalami Ibrahim, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army and Commander of Operation SAFE HAVEN, visited troops in Bauchi and Gombe.

Major-General Abdulsalami, warned the troops that they had no business with the elections and should instead go to their respective polling places and exercise their right to vote, according to a statement given to journalists by Lieutenant-Colonel Ishaku Takwa, the acting deputy director of army public relations for the division. He gave orders for the soldiers to always play their parts with professionalism, tenacity, and resolve.

The GOC 3 Division Nigerian Army and Commander OPSH, who were touring the bases where the soldiers would be stationed, also looked at the facilities at the 301 Artillery Regiment, General Support Gombe, 33 Artillery Brigade, and the Nigerian Army Armoured Corps Headquarters in Bauchi. Additionally, he paid polite visits to the Kolmani Integrated Development site, Alhaji Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar, and the Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar.
