The Governor of Oyo State Engr Seyi Makinde has lauded the Nigerian Army for her hard work and exemplary leadership in curtailing insecurity in Oyo State and the nation at large.
The Governor disclosed this when the General Officer Commanding 2 Division Nigerian Army Ibadan Maj Gen Aminu Chinade paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the government house.
The Governor acknowledged the GOC’s commitment towards ending security challenges in the state. He applauded the Division for their professionalism and assistance to the people in time of need.
In his remarks, the GOC thanked the Governor for his support and used the opportunity to convey the goodwill message of the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya to the Governor and the good people of the state.
He then commended the Governor and the good people of Oyo State for being a good host to the Nigerian Army institutions and other security establishments in Oyo State.
