The Infantry Corps Commander (CIC) Major-General CG Musa paid a maiden official visit to the General Officer Commanding 1 Division and Force Commander Operation Whirl Punch Maj-General TA Lagbaja at the Headquarters 1 Division today 15 March 2023 and solicits the support and collaboration of the Division.
In his remarks, the Infantry Corps Commander stated that he was at the Division to familiarize himself and his entourage with the GOC and also solicit continuous support from the Division. He commended the efforts of the GOC and his team for the successes so far recorded in the fight against banditry, kidnapping, terrorism and other crimes in the Division’s Area of Responsibility and urged them not to relent.
In his response, the GOC congratulated the CIC on his well-deserved appointment and commended his selfless service to the Nation while serving as Theatre Commander Operation HADIN KAI. He then pledge the continuous support of the Division to the Infantry Corps.
