The Commissioner Of Police Kogi State CP Akeem A Yusuf paid a courtesy call on Commander Command Army Records, Major General SI Igbinomwanhia to seek the collaboration of the NA towards successful general elections in 2023.
The Commissioner of Police disclosed that the visit was necessary to seek strengthened synergy and cooperation which he disclosed is very important as the election is fast approaching. Such a visit he said will open a new door of collaboration towards mitigating electoral violence.
Responding, the Commander Command Army Records, appreciated the visible synergy existing between the Army and other security agencies especially, in the ongoing Ex Enduring Peace II. He appreciated the efforts of the Police in contributing to the success of the exercise. The Commander further assured the Commissioner of Police of his resolve to strengthen the existing relationship between the Army and the Police in Kogi State .
Highlights of the visit were the Signing of the Visitor’s book, the presentation of souvenirs and a group photograph.
