MAJ GEN AJUNWA: We’ll Take all Necessary Steps to Stop Crime in 81 Division Area of Responsibility

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division Nigerian Army ( NA) Maj Gen OC Ajunwa has vowed that he would ensure criminal activities does not thrive in the Division Area of Responsibility (AOR). He stated this on 31 January 23 while hosting the Commandant Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Air Vice Marshal CA Ohwo who was on a courtesy visit to the Division.

Maj Gen Ajunwa said the Division has put in place appropriate measures to ensure criminal activities does not thrive in the Division’s AOR. The GOC thanked the Commandant for the visit, stating that NAFRC and the Division have a very cordial relationship which would be maintained.

Speaking earlier, the Commandant NAFRC, Air Vice Marshal CA Ohwo said the visit was to solidify the already existing relationship and to solicit for continuous cooperation between the Division and the Centre. He reiterated on the need for cooperation amongst Services for the successful conduct of all operations in the country. The Commandant also commended the Maj Gen Ajunwa, the Division for the usual cooperation with the Centre and promised to support the Division always.

Highlights of the visit include the exchange of mementos, signing of Visitor’s Book by the Commandant NAFRC and group photographs.
