The Nigerian Army Education Corps (NAEC) Combined First and Second Quarter Conference 2023 has been opened by Corps Commander Education (CCE), Major General Bello Tsoho. The conference, which is being held at the Nigerian Army Institute of Science Education and Technology in Illorin at the Major General SA Adebayo Hall, is scheduled to last from May 16 to 19, 2023.
The CCE gave officers of the Nigerian Army Education Corps instructions during the inaugural ceremony to continue to foster a culture of a positive attitude toward work and to always strive to do the right things to be productive to the Corps and the Nigerian Army (NA).
In a same spirit, General Tsoho viewed the meeting as a crucial instrument for repositioning the Corps in order to achieve its goals. He also expressed his gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff for his appointment as Corps Commander and for his crucial assistance to NAEC.
“Let me take this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), for selecting me to command the Education Corps at this crucial juncture and for his ongoing, unwavering support of NAEC. In many ways, this conference is really special. First, the effort to relocate the Corps is of far greater importance to the COAS. He thinks that the conference will provide a forum for planning the Nigerian Army’s transformation agenda.
“Second, this Conference is essential to the CCE’s design, which aims to provide the Corps with a road plan for moving forward. Therefore, the conference will be a platform that presents a unique chance to market the Corp’s ideas in order to support the NA’s transformation strategy and reposition the Corps for improved performance.
The commanders and troops of the Nigerian Army Education Corps were praised by Major General Tsoho for their hard work, energy, and dedication, which had so far resulted in the achievement of the Corp’s objectives. In support of the COAS vision, which is “To have A Professional Nigerian Army Ready to Accomplish Assigned Missions within A Joint Environment in Defense of Nigeria,” he claimed that the Headquarters NAEC had established a number of committees to develop their contributions toward the transformation of the Education Corps.
The Provost of the Nigerian Army College of Education in Ilorin, Major General SS Ibrahim, the Rector of the Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology, Major General UN Babangida, Directors, Principal Staff Officers of HQ NAEC, Commandants of NA Institutions, Commanders of NAEC units, and other senior officers are present.
