On Friday 27 January 2023, Headquarters Theatre Command Operation HADIN KAI ( OPHK ) organized a befitting send-forth party in honour of the outgoing Theatre Commander Joint Task Force ( JTF) North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI ( OPHK), Major General CG Musa who is now the Commander Infantry Corps (CIC) Jaji, and also to honour posted out senior officers of the Theatre Headquarters.
The Special Guest of Honour ( SGOH ) at the send-forth party, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum mni, the Executive Governor of Borno State who was ably represented by the Acting Head of Service Borno State, Barrister Mallam Fannami mni commended General Musa for the overall successes recorded during his tenure as the Theatre Commander.
He disclosed that the successes recorded are engendered by his unique visionary and leadership style as well as his collaborative effort with the Borno State Government, supports to the Civilian Joint Task Force and other critical stakeholders in the State.
Finally, the SGOH wished the outgoing TC more successes in his new command and also used the opportunity to pledged the same support and mutual working relationship with the Incoming Theatre Commander, Maj Gen IS Ali.
In his remarks, the outgoing Theatre Commander thanked all the Commanders, Officers and Men of OPHK for their doggedness in the fight against the insurgents and also for the tremendous successes recorded during his tenure as the TC. He also used the opportunity to thank the State Government for their support and synergy with OPHK and equally solicited same for his successor, Maj Gen IS Ali.
The high point of the Send Forth party was the Goodwill Messages by Senior Officers of OPHK and presentation of souvenirs.
Present during the event was the Incoming Theatre Commander OPHK Major General IS Ali, the Deputy Theatre Commander Major General KA Isoni, the GOC 7 Div NA and Commander sector 1 OPHK Major General W Shaibu, Sector Commanders of OPHK, the Comd Naval Base Lake Chad, Component Commanders, Senior Officers, INGOs and Members of the Press .
