OPERATION HADIN KAI: On December 7, 2022, Jireh Doo Foundation (JDF), a group that focuses on gender-based protection, paid a visit to Headquarters Theatre Command in Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri for a campaign visit. The Deputy Theatre Commander OPHK, Major General MS Ahmed, welcomed the squad, which was led by Comrade Jackson Emokpaire, upon their arrival.

According to Comrade Jackson, Jireh Doo Foundation is a women-led national non-governmental organization (NGOs) that serves the needs of those who are most in need throughout Nigeria, especially in Borno and Yobe State in the country’s northeast.
The team leader added that through partnerships with foreign donors and members of some pertinent network, JDF also gives special regard to the needs of women, young girls, boys, and men in crisis-affected areas in the North East area of operation.
Deputy Theatre Commander Operation Hadin Kai, Major General MS Ahmed welcomed the team to HQs Theatre Command Operation Hadin Kai. In his remarks on behalf of the Theatre Commander, Officers, and Men of OPHK informed the team that the Command of Operation Hadin Kai has an already established mechanism to checkmate such incidents, which is the Human Rights Desk in the Cantonment, and he added that a legal Officer is deployed to attend to any complaints.
The Deputy Theatre Commander Operation Hadin Kai concluded by noting that while members of the armed forces place a high value on their families and treat them with such affection and care, incidences of gender-based violence are more common. General Ahmed reassured them, however, that the command will work with the Human Rights Desk.

The interactive session, signing guest books, displaying gifts, and taking a group picture were the highlights of the visit.
The Components Commanders OPHK, the Chief of Staff of Headquarters Theatre Command, and Principal Staff Officers of Headquarters Theatre Command were all present during the visit.
