Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) has successfully seized a sizeable cache of Arms and Ammunition, making a significant step toward ensuring the safety and security of communities within its Joint Operations Area. These recovered firearms have been given to the Operation SAFE HAVEN Headquarters in Jos’ National Center for the Control of Small Arms and Light firearms (NCCSALW).
Major General AE Abubakar, who is also the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 3rd Division of the Nigerian Army and is in charge of Operation SAFE HAVEN, expressed his extreme delight in the extraordinary efforts and accomplishments of the soldiers under his command. Their tenacious pursuit of criminals and aggressive participation in kinetic operations have made a substantial contribution to the reduction of criminal activity in the area.
