In continuation with the operational package organised for students of Junior Leadership and Staff Officers Course (JLSOC) 1/2022, the Nigerian Army College of Logistics (NACOL) embarked on a three (3) days operational visit to Osun State recently.
The team, comprising the Deputy Commandant/Director of Studies, Brigadier General Mohammed Abubakar, Chief Instructor, Col OJ George, Members of Directing Staff and students of JLSOC 1/22, visited the Engineer Construction Command Step-up Headquarters for EXERCISE STILL WATERS II 2022, located in Ede North Local Government Area of Osun State and the Sub-sector HQ 22 Support Engineer Regiment located at Iboji – Ijesa, Ilesa, Osun State.
The visit which has the theme; Appraising the Efficiency of the NA in Curbing Contemporary Security Challenges in the South West Region is aimed at exposing the students to the conduct of NA operations in the field. It would be recalled that NACOL had visited Ogun State on similar operational visit, led by the Commandant, Major General Adekunle Adeyinka recently.
Additionally, the visiting team were received by the Commander, Engineer Construction Command, Brig-Gen KF Suleiman. The team were conducted on a guided tour of the Base Camp, they were shown deployment of the various cells and their roles. More so, the students visited the various sub-sector HQ under its AOR.
Highlights of the visit were a guided tour, interactive session, exchange of souvenirs and a group photograph.
