The Special Assistant to the Minister of Defence on Media and Publicity, Mohammad Abdulkadri, made a statement announcing this.
He described how the C-in-C left its mark on the history of the country, particularly by giving the military access to cutting-edge fighting gear to help with counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, and anti-banditry operations.
The defence minister claimed that the Commander-in-steadfast Chief’s support for the military has increased the combat and shooting power of the armed forces, enabling them to respond to threats to the country’s territorial integrity, peace, and prosperity in a decisive and forceful manner.
While congratulating PMB on turning 80, he said Nigerians are proud of his frightening pedigree for lifting the bar of spotless service and sacrifice to the country by delivering the appropriate leadership with referred and as a rare inclination to make the country better than he met it.
He was characterized by General Magashi as a sort of enigma whose unwavering defense and position for the country’s unity and indivisibility is undeniable as a trustworthy Nigerian.
The Defense Minister congratulated the C-in-C on his appointment as a respected global leader and acknowledged the results of the policies and initiatives that fell under his purview as the nation’s top citizen, particularly the Presidential Infrastructure Development Fund (PIDF), which he claimed had altered perceptions about the nation’s infrastructure deficit.
The Minister claimed that during the past seven years, his administration has also implemented new economic policies that are encouraging the ease of doing business and accelerating a national renaissance in fiscal responsibility, probity, and accountability in the management of government at all levels.
As a result, he prayed to the Almighty Allah to prolong President Muhammadu Buhari’s life so that he might serve the country and humanity with merit and purity for many more years to come.
