Major General EO Oshunsan, Managing Director of Pronto Microsystems Technologies Limited(PMTL), led his management team on a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Army’s Command Engineering Depot in Rigachikun, Kaduna, on 20 November 2025. The visit offered an in-depth look at the Depot’s operations and engineering capabilities, strengthening ties between the military and the private technology sector.
The delegation was warmly received by the Commander of the Depot(CED), Major General OO Arogundade, who provided a comprehensive briefing on the command’s activities, operational scope, and contributions to the Nigerian Army’s engineering and logistical capabilities.
The visit was aimed at fostering collaboration between the CED and PMTL, owned by the Nigerian Army, exploring opportunities for technological support, innovation, and capacity building within the Army’s engineering and operational frameworks.
In his remarks, Major General Oshunsan commended the Command Engineering Depot for its commitment to modernization and technological advancement. He highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships in enhancing operational efficiency and expressed Pronto Microsystems’ readiness to collaborate with the CED through innovative solutions.

Earlier, in his welcome address, Major General Arogundade emphasized the Command Engineering Depot’s mandate in providing engineering support, equipment refurbishment , and logistical services across the Nigerian Army. He also expressed appreciation for the visit, noting that such engagements strengthen the synergy between organisations in the research and development ecosystem for a better Nigerian Army.
Highlights of the visit included a guided tour of the depot’s state-of-the-art facilities, signing of the visitors’ book, presentation of souvenirs, and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
The courtesy visit reflects the Nigerian Army’s ongoing commitment to leveraging technological partnerships to improve operational readiness and efficiency, while encouraging innovation and adaptation of emerging technologies to enhance national security.
