Rear Admiral Hamza Kaoje Takes the Helm as Group Managing Director/CEO of Navy Holdings Limited

Rear Admiral Hamza Kaoje formally took over as NHL’s new Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (GMD/CEO) at a brief ceremony at Navy Holdings Limited (NHL) in Abuja. On July 4, 2023, Rear Admiral Sileranda Lassa relinquished command to Rear Admiral Kaoje.

Rear Admiral Kaoje was the Director of Equipment Standardization and Harmonisation at the Defence Headquarters prior to his appointment as the GMD/CEO of NHL. He is qualified to lead NHL in its strategic activities and contribute to the growth and success of the organization due to his vast military experience and knowledge of equipment standardization.

A subsidiary of the Nigerian Navy, Navy Holdings Limited, is essential to the management of the Navy’s business endeavors and investments. Rear Admiral Kaoje’s nomination as the new GMD/CEO demonstrates the Navy’s dedication to ensuring efficient management and leadership of its economic activities.

Rear Admiral Kaoje is expected to use his leadership abilities, strategic vision, and operational experience as the next GMD/CEO to propel NHL’s expansion and financial success. He will be responsible for managing the Navy’s many business endeavors, investments, and strategic alliances and ensuring that they are in line with the organization’s aims and objectives.

The appointment of Rear Admiral Kaoje ushers in a new era for Navy Holdings Limited’s operations. Under his direction, it is hoped that the group would continue to significantly contribute to the Nigerian Navy’s overall purpose and goals while also seeing sustained growth and financial success.
