The Zamfara State Police Command has neutralized two bandits after they successfully repelled an attack on a hamlet in the Tsafe Local Government Area.
The Command Spokesperson, CSP Muhammad Shehu, said in a statement released on Monday in Gusau that Mr. Kolo Yusuf, Commissioner of Police, had praised the operatives’ tenacity.
He reassured the people of Zamfara State that the command was devoted to stopping the rise in criminal activity in the state.
“The robbers’ attack on the community was repulsed; two of the suspected bandits were neutralized, while the other two may have fled with bullet wounds.
The collaborative efforts of the police and military operations in the state to reduce the threat of armed banditry and other criminal groups are appreciated by the police commissioner, he continued.
Shehu urged the populace to continue aiding security forces in their attempts to reestablish long-term stability and security in the state. He promised that the command will maintain its progress and carry on the state’s war against banditry.
