The Nigerian Army School of Military Engineering (NASME), Markurdi, Benue State, is now hosting a Project Management Workshop, which the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant-General Farouk Yahaya declared open. The COAS said that the well-being of personnel and their families remain his top priority.

The COAS, who was represented by Major General Kamil Kadri, Commander Corps of Engineers, emphasized the necessity of timely and effective project delivery while directing project officers to avoid compromising on quality and ensure that projects were given upscale and contemporary finishes.

The workshop will include a number of presentations, discussion sessions, and a demonstration in keeping with the topic and goals it was created for, according to the coordinator, Major-General ST Shafaru of the Nigerian Army (NA) Special Projects. He claimed that the purpose of these was to update attendees on current worldwide trends in construction management in order to improve timely delivery of high-quality products, which raises the profession’s honor, reputation, and worth.

The coordinator further conveyed his deep thanks to the COAS, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, for not only giving the workshop his blessing but also for providing the necessary funding to carry it out. The souvenir presentation and group photo were the event’s high points.
