The Theatre Commander Joint Task Force (JTF) North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), Major General Ibrahim Ali has today, 14 March, 2023, charged members of the Special Court Martial to remain highly professional and give fair hearing in order to do justice to the accused as well as to the system.
Major-General Ali gave this charge during the inauguration of Theatre Command Special Court Martial set up to try cases of al ged professional misconduct by troops of OPHK.
The Theatre Commander further called on the court to do their best with the utmost professionalism in order to achieve justice for all. Moreso, he enjoined the court to speedily conduct and conclude the cases in line with global best practices.
The hitch-free event was attended by the Deputy Theatre Commander, Major General KA Isoni, Component Commanders, Principal Staff Officers, members of the Court, prosecuting and defence Counsels, and accused personnel, amongst others.
