To Commemorate Armed Forces Remembrance Day 2023, 4 Brigade Holds Interdenominational Service

The 4 Brigade Nigerian Army has held an interdenominational Service at the Ascension Catholic Church of 107 Air Maritime Group Shittu Alao Air Force Base Oko Benin City to mark this year’s Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration today 8 January 2023.

The Commander 4 Brigade Nigerian Army Brigadier General DH Ndahi during his remarks thanked the Almighty God for giving the Armed Forces the wherewithal to surmount the numerous challenges the country is faced with. He further charged the troops to remain tolerant and vigilant in order to sustain the successes being recorded in all theaters of operations.

Earlier, the Clergy man – Major (Reverend Canon) Dr SF Akinsanmi during his sermon has said; it is profitable to serve God. He further said being a soldier should not exclude one from serving God.

Recall, the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) launched 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day the emblem at Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja on 16 November 2022.

Also in attendance during the Church Service were; Deputy Commandant Nigerian Army School of Supply and Transport Brigadier General FC Onyeari, the Chief of Staff 4 Brigade Colonel W Diriyai, Commander 4 Brigade Garrison Lieutenant Colonel A Chinedu, Wing Commander AO Owonikoko representing Commander 107 Air Maritime Group, Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association members, families of officers and men of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army.
