Troops of Operation Forest Sanity Capture Suspected Bandits, Gunrunners in Katsina

OPERATION FOREST SANITY

On January 27, 2023, two gunrunners in a Golf vehicle were capture by OPERATION FOREST SANITY troops stationed at Danali in the Danmusa LGA of Katsina State while on patrol. This was near the general region of Maidabino. The suspects said they were looking for their missing sibling when they were questioned. Three Techno mobile phones, three ATM cards, one NIN card, and a Golf car are among the first items found on suspects. 1x Driver’s license, transaction receipt, and the whole amount of N64,000,650 (#64,650).

This information was provided to media in Abuja by Major General Musa Danmadami, Director of Defence Media Operations at Defense Headquarters. However, the OPERATION FOREST SANITY troops, after a closer inspection of the truck noticed that it was also concealing six AK-47 rifles and 27 AK-47 magazines. Those captured suspects are in custody for questioning.

The military high command applauds Operation FOREST SANITY for the capture of the bandits and exhorts the public to provide the military with reliable and timely information on criminal activity.
