The Commander 22 Amoured Brigade Nigerian Army Brigadier General AA Babalola, on 8 February 2023 opened a staff restaurant at the Brigade Headquarters where officers and soldiers will be served free lunch daily. In his remarks, the Commander said that the welfare of troops remains paramount in any military engagement.
The Commander 22 Amoured Brigade noted that the welfare initiative to provide his officers and soldiers with lunch while at work was born out of the COAS sumptuous lunch provided for all officers and men serving in Army Headquarters. Also, the desire to boost troops’ morale to enable them work more efficiently.
Present during the brief event were the Acting Chief of Staff Lt Col LJ Asuquo, staff officers and soldiers of 22 Brigade Headquarters.
