Two alleged armed robbers were shot and killed by police in Asaba, the capital of Delta State. The suspects allegedly used a commercial tricycle to rob people of their cell phones while holding them at gunpoint in the public.
If the suspects had any weapons or ammo, it was unknown whether the police had found them.
The information was verified by the Delta State Police Command, under the direction of CP Ari Muhammed Ali.
