A comprehensive five-day course on Work Ethics and Organizational Performance concluded successfully at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja on Friday, 29 August 2025. The programme, which commenced on 25 August, brought together 59 participants drawn from the military, paramilitary agencies, and the civil service.
According to a statement by Lieutenant Colonel NG Agha-Okoro, Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations Nigerian Army Resource Centre, the course was designed to provide participants with tools to enhance productivity, discipline, and efficiency in their various organizations.
During the inauguration ceremony, the Course Coordinator, Brigadier General FC Eze (Rtd), highlighted that the training was tailored to instill best practices in teamwork, accountability, and leadership. Through group discussions, case studies, and interactive presentations, participants exchanged experiences and explored actionable strategies to improve workplace effectiveness and overall organizational performance.
The closing ceremony featured the presentation of certificates to participants by the Director General of NARC, Major General JGK Myam (Rtd), who was assisted by the Course Coordinator. In his remarks, Maj Gen Myam commended the participants for their commitment and expressed optimism that the lessons learnt would contribute significantly to improving service delivery across their respective institutions. He thereafter declared the course closed.
Participants lauded the course as a timely and impactful initiative, describing it as an avenue that aligns with international standards while addressing local challenges in organizational ethics and performance.
