NAOWA Coordinator Headquarters Command Army Records Commissions Projects in Lokoja

The Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) Coordinator Command Army Records Chapter Mrs Bolanle Igbinomwanhia on 19 December 22 commissioned newly constructed toilets and donated chairs for classrooms at Army Day Secondary School Chari Maigumeri Cantonment Lokoja.

In her opening remarks,the NAOWA coordinator Mrs Bolanle Igbinomwanhia stated that NAOWA believes that the children are the future of tomorrow and the project is part of NAOWA initiative to support education by providing a enabling environment. She also thanked the staff of the school for their efforts in ensuring and uplifting the standard of learning in the school.

While making his remarks the Special Guest of Honour Maj Gen SI Igbinomwanhia commended the NAOWA coordinator for the initiative and the actualisation of this remarkable project which will indeed contribute greatly to the educational upbringing of the students. He further promised that other developmental projects will be executed in the school.

In his vote of thanks, the school’s Principal Mr Moses Salami on behalf of staff and students of the school thanked NAOWA Coordinator for her kind gesture and selfless service towards impacting positively in lives of students. Salami promised that the donated toilet facility and chairs will be properly maintained for the benefit of the students.

Other dignitaries at the event were the Principal Staff Officers of the Command, NAOWA members, as well as Staff of Army Day secondary school amongst others. The climax of the event was the musical presentation by the students of the school and group photograph.
