The Chairperson of the NAOWA 2 Division Chapter, Pharmacist Mrs. Rekiya Usman, and members were welcomed by the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) President, Mrs. Salamatu F. Yahaya, who urged Association members to preserve and strengthen the legacies of their predecessors. She made the statement on February 28, 2023, at the NAOWA National Secretariat.
Mrs. Yahaya offered her congratulations to Mrs. Usman on the nomination of her husband to the position of GOC 2Div and her inauguration as Chairperson NAOWA 2 Division Chapter. She praised Mrs. Usman’s efforts during her time serving as the Coordinator Guards Brigade and encouraged her to continue building on the achievements of the NAOWA 2 Division Chapter’s predecessors.
Mrs. Yahaya further exhorted the group’s members to never forget that they are all members of NAOWA due to their husbands and that as a result, they should uphold and safeguard their reputation through their actions and conduct.
While speaking previously, the Coordinator NAOWA at Guards Brigade Chapter, Pharmacist Mrs. Rekiya Usman, the Chairperson NAOWA 2 Division Chapter, expressed gratitude to the President NAOWA for her advice and mentorship. She assures the NAOWA President of her commitment to upholding and improving NAOWA aims and objectives in the 2 Div chapter.
The interactive sessions, gift and souvenir presentations, singing of the visitor’s book, and group photos are among the highlights of the stay.
